We recorded the material from this album on our own, and it was an overall learning experience. It was our first serious work - recorded over a period of 3 days in Davenport, IA, with 2 Shure SM 57's and a CAD condenser microphone. (haha) A lot of the material was rehearsed and performed with former member, Kale Brown... hence the 4-piece sound.

A long time ago, on a trip to the north, the horse was born.
The magical horse phenomenon is a theory that cannot be fully explained within the confines of this Internet biography. The picture, which encompasses the inner-workings of The Horse Theory, has yet to be fully revealed. In the mythical-magical morning light of Horses abound, a beautifully fattened tone between the basses and guitars rings, and brings forth funky beats and juicy overdrive. The juicy drum tones are the life of the party.
The Horse Theory brings people together, and helps the community. We care about our environment! The Horse atmosphere, where we experiment with large amounts of magical sound waves.
Come experience The Horse Theory, as we experiment with a large number of influences and genres galore. Experience the full force of the Horse.
